When the Hurt Runs Deep: Healing and Hope for Life's Desperate Moments
By Kay Arthur
Why? Why me? Why now? I don’t deserve this! Will the pain ever go away? God are you out there? God don’t just stand still do something! What is left to hope for? In our lives we go through much pain, heartache, trials, and storms. We wonder if we can take any more. Kay Arthur’s When the Hurt Runs Deep: Healing and Hope for Life’s Desperate Moments lets us know we can get through any of these things.
Through Scripture, Kay shares with you twelve Healing Truths that will help you understand and walk through the Hurts of life. Kay shows you the way toward genuine healing. She shares with us how these Healing Truths have helped her go through all the pain, hurts, trials and storms in her own life.
To me Kay wrote this book to help us heal from all our hurts and to let us know that we do have Hope.
I was so privileged to be able to read this book. I had wanted to read it every since it came out and thanks to WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group I received it for free if I’d write a review on it.
I have been through so many of storms, trials, pain, hurt, lost hope in my life. I have done several of Kay’s Bible studies, but never read one of her books. I knew that this gifted Bible teacher had to have the answers to help anyone go through the Hurts in their life. We are told how God can heal any hurt we have, no matter how painful, how deep it runs. This book will help you heal and lead you to understanding God’s unconditional love. Thanks so much Kay for sharing your hurts to help us see that with God we can get through the Hurts that Run Deep.
